Meet Sydney Pesetti:

Multiple time Virginia state champion throughout high school coming into college as a mid distance freestyle, butterflier, and backstroke for the Hokies. Placing fifth as a freshmen at ACCs on the 800 free relay and helping qualify the relay for NCAAs. 2 appearances at ACCs so far with one more season left to go in my collegiate career!

So What Other Than Swimming:

Hobbies that I like to do when I am not swimming are cooking, watching any scary movies, bible study, and just relaxing with friends. I am a pretty chill individual and likes a lot of down time.

Day By Day:

The biggest lesson that I have learned from the sport of swimming would definitely be to take nothing too seriously. I found myself enjoying the sport the most AND competing the best when I was relaxed and having fun! Life and sports in college go by so fast, I try and take it day by day with a smile on my face because happy athletes are great athletes.

Food & Life Hacks:

I started my food and health account because over the past 3 years of D1 athletics I've slowly developed a love for keeping myself as healthy as possible and loving the body I live in. I love to learn new things about cooking and living the most simple and healthy way. I wanted to create an account where I can share my little “short-cuts” with cooking, life, and fitness in hope to help other college athletes and students wanting to live healthier lives but in such a simple way it’s so easy! I’ve learned as an athlete for 15 years that keeping nutrition in check and just keeping a simple, healthy, positive attitude towards everything you do...you will be the best and happiest version of yourself!
